E-mobility is on the rise
By 2020, a total of 628 public EV charging stations had been installed in Slovenia.
According to the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association, there are currently 628 public charging stations connected to the Slovenian grid, though unofficial figures suggest the number is closer to 1,200. This aligns with the targets set in the National Strategy for the Development of the Market for Alternative Fuels in Transport. The strategy envisions 7,000 charging stations by 2025, and as many as 22,300 by 2030.
Slovenia is already home to nearly 7,000 electric cars and light commercial vehicles.
We offer a comprehensive portfolio of EV charging infrastructure for both private and business users.
We are proud to present electric vehicle charging stations by Smappee. Our solutions are suitable for all types of electric vehicles and support both private and public use, including integration with payment systems.
Why more and more companies are switching to electric vehicles.
The reasons are clear and practical:
- The total cost of purchasing, maintaining, and operating an electric vehicle is lower than that of comparable internal combustion engine vehicles.
- EVs offer significantly higher energy efficiency.
- They are environmentally friendly and contribute to improved air quality.
- EVs benefit from government subsidies and lower fringe benefits taxation when used for both professional and private purposes (1.5% of purchase value for conventional vehicles vs. 0.3% for electric vehicles).
- EVs are becoming more affordable.
- They offer high performance levels.
- They present strong potential for economic growth.
- They are enjoyable to drive.
- Charging infrastructure is growing fast and becoming more accessible.
- Charging is easy – at fast public stations or at home.
E-mobility is more than just a trend – it’s the future. Preparing for it makes good business sense.
