With the market liberalization in railway transportation, it has become important to accurately and reliably determine and divide costs of energy consumed by train operators, which is supplied by the railway infrastructure operators. Take advantage of our solutions to collect data and charge the actual electrical energy consumption, as this will be mandatory for all railway traffic operators in the EU.

In line with the EU legislation, all new trains put into operation after 2014 need to be equipped with electrical energy metering devices and from 2017 onwards, these data must be transferred into a data collection system (Data Collection System – DCS). Countries within the EU have committed to enabling the collection and exchange of data required for accurate billing of energy from 2019 on.
