The purpose of the CEDIT.SI project is the comprehensive digital transformation in the value chains of the life cycles of glass packaging, which is in line with the purpose of the public tender for the Digital Transformation of the Economy. The allocated investment incentives aim to actively contribute to the comprehensive digital transformation of business functions, with an emphasis on increasing productivity and growth, optimizing and reducing production costs, and achieving greater competitiveness through innovative technologies. In addition to the advanced digitalization of glass production, the project CEDIT.SI also includes the digital transformation of consortium partners, as well as the digitization of interactions with external stakeholders of the project. Specifically, 8 advanced digital technologies will be implemented, and 14 business functions will be transformed across a total of 10 consortium partners.

The aim of the CEDIT.SI project is to strengthen the competitiveness of all project partners and contribute to open innovation and a sustainably oriented society as the foundation for the growth of the digital economy. The glass industry transformation project is a key prerequisite for increasing the value added in the industry and the entire economy.
